RESILIENT MODIGLIANA

CO-DESIGNING RESILIENCE PATHWAYS
The Municipality of Modigliana with its citizens and the researchers of the Politecnico di Milano underwrote a collaboration agreement on the topics of resilient recovery and climate change adaptation. Researchers from the Department of Architecture, Built Environment and Construction Engineering have established an Observatory on the Resilience of Flooded Territories in Emilia Romagna. The researchers of the Department of Architecture, Built Environment and Construction Engineering developed an Observatory on the Resilient Reconstruction of the affected territories of the Emilia Romagna Region. A first result was achieved presenting the project at the New European Bauhaus Exhibition in Brussels in April 2024. In January the Ahead project funded by the European Commission DG ECHO started coordinated by the Politecnico and with the Municipality of Modigliana as a partner. Ahead is about improving post disaster damage data collection producing and engineering an information system to query data for multiple use cases, including reducing vulnerabilities to disasters.
